Cookie Policy
Effective 6 September 2026 · Version 2026-09-06
Recipe Rumble currently uses one strictly necessary first-party session cookie. It does not use advertising cookies or browser analytics cookies.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|
session | Keeps you signed in, protects forms against forgery, and remembers essential account state. | Normally deleted when the browser session ends. | Strictly necessary; disabling it prevents account features from working. |
Cookie consent
Because only a strictly necessary session cookie is set by Recipe Rumble, an opt-in cookie banner is not currently required for that cookie. If analytics, advertising, personalisation, or other non-essential storage is added later, it must remain off until any legally required consent is obtained, with refusal as easy as acceptance.
Third-party services
Google and Paynow may use their own cookies after you choose their sign-in or payment service. YouTube may use cookies or local storage only after you choose to load a tutorial. Those providers control their own cookies and policies. Blocking third-party cookies may affect those optional services.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser. Blocking the Recipe Rumble session cookie means you will not be able to sign in, submit, vote, or manage membership.
